Welcome
to Week #2 of Pantry Organization!
Shelf
#2!
If
you have many cans or boxes of cereal, consider organizing the cans by item
contents {Vegetables, Soup, etc} or expiration date. Place the cans so
that you can easily see what you have available for planning and preparing
meals. I use baskets on my 2nd shelf to hold open large bags of
chips. There is another basket on this shelf that holds any candies or
gums for my children.

Up Next! Week #3 + Giveaway (Have you submitted your pictures to me? Keep in mind they don't have to be fancy {smiles}).

Wish I had a pantry. I just have a small cupboard. Saving up to purchase a pantry cabinet though. Then I won't be running to the store all the time! Yay!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer for the comments. :)
DeleteI was already seperating the veggies/meats from the soups/spaghettios (but since my daughter puts the groceries away for me she has trouble remembering to do that). I have them on double turntables and they don't turn very easily (I have the same shelves as you do). I also have some plastic baskets (about the same size as the box you are using) that I could use. Suggestions?

This is great Sherri and I think you should continue to use what will be helpful for your organization. Sometimes we have helpful items right in our home for storage solutions and may not need to go out and buy any other items. :)
