Earned Income Potential

Depends, probably close to 30,000 a year with a steady stream of clients
Skills needed.

To be a good sleep consultant, you need to be able to have good communication skills in order to consult with families. You have to be accepting of different people's beliefs and nonjudgemental. You should have knowledge of sleep patterns in children and the different behavioral ways to change their sleep behavior. To be an effective Greenproofer, you also need good communication skills and knowledge of toxins in and around our everyday living spaces.
$ required to start?

To start my business, I did take several trainings. I have probably spent around $4,000 on training and certifications on sleep and greenproofing. I work from home and do not need to buy inventory or anything.

Any challenges?

I think the biggest challenge I have had is just getting myself out there to meet people in person. I have been recently becoming more involved in local networking groups and making more local contacts, which has been helping my business.

    I was having problems with my grandson not wanting to go take naps or going to sleep at night. I read about several toxins that may affect this pattern and have been watching is diet and he is really doing so much better. This would be a great service for those that are having problems with this issue.
